"The only junkyard that takes the Junk out of the Yard"
AUTO RECYCLING CORPORATION
FOUNDER & BACKGROUND
Roy Ajimine purchased Auto Recycling Corporation (ARC) in 1986 to help fulfill the increased customer demand from his first independent business venture A&A Used Auto Parts.
Roy gained his experience managing and operating the used auto parts and sales division for Ace Towing in Sand Island. Before the assistance of manuals and computers, Roy’s ability to memorize his inventory coupled with his automotive knowledge and understanding of the various interchangeable parts quickly established himself as a leader in Hawaii’s automotive industry.
With a clear vision and relentless hard work, Roy opened his first Used Auto Parts store (aka Junk Yard, Wrecking Yard or Salvage Yard), A&A Used Auto Parts in Mapunapuna on October 24th, 1980. With the help of his wife Linda, his son Chad, and other dedicated hard working family members (Richard Ajimine “Father”, Ronald Ajimine “Brother”, Frank Ajimine “Uncle”, Ralph Ajimine “Uncle” and Ryan Toyooka “Nephew”) he was able to make his dream a reality.
A&A Used Auto Parts rapidly developed a sterling reputation for the quality of its used auto parts, the organization of the warehouse and yard, and the trustworthiness and honesty in providing the customers with fair and affordable prices. A&A Used Auto Parts was destroyed in a fire caused by a burglary in January 1988.
Auto Recycling Corporation continues to be a small local family owned and operated business providing the public with an affordable and green alternative to purchasing replacement parts for their vehicles. Auto Recycling Corporation’s continues to be the only Junkyard that takes the “Junk” out of the “Yard” and is committed to maintaining the same core fundamental values established by our founder of selling quality used auto parts at fair and affordable prices.
No sweat ‘em, we’ll get ‘em…because we’ll remove all of the parts for FREE!!!
